1. External Domain or Purchase: Start by pointing your existing domain or purchasing a new one through Voolt.
2. Get Your MX and TXT records: Once your domain is ready, you need to contact your Webmail provider and get the MX and TXT records.
What are MX and TXT Records? MX (Mail Exchange) records are DNS (Domain Name System) records vital for directing your domain's email traffic to the appropriate email server. They ensure that emails sent to your domain reach your inbox correctly. TXT (Text) records, on the other hand, are DNS records that provide text information to external sources. They are often used to verify domain ownership and implement email security measures like SPF (Sender Policy Framework) and DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail), which help prevent email spoofing. Setting up the correct MX and TXT records is crucial for reliable email communication.3. Access your Dashboard: Once you have the information, access your Dashboard to add the records to your account. Click here or https://app.voolt.com/dashboard/websites/domains/.
4. Email Setup: Scroll down do DNS Management and click + Add Record Manually. Past one record by one and pay attention if you are adding an MX or a TXT.
