Domains

A domain is like a special web address for your website. When someone wants to visit your website, they just type in your domain name, like 'www.yourcompany.com,' instead of a long, complicated internet address. 

With Voolt, you can get your very own website name, making it super easy for your customers to find and visit your website. And if you already have your domain you can link it to your Voolt Website

To secure your unique website name, follow these steps:

Buying a new website name with Voolt:

1. In the left menu, click on 'Website' and select 'Domains.'
2. Under 'Get custom domain name', you can select one of the suggestions or enter your desired website name. We'll check if it's available, and if not, we'll provide suggestions under 'Suggested Domain Names for You.' Each domain name may have a different price, which we'll display during the search, and you pay for it on a yearly basis.
3. Once you've made your choice, click on 'Buy Now' and follow the steps to complete the purchase.

To link your existing website name with Voolt, follow these steps:

1. On the left menu, choose 'Website' and then 'Domains.'
2. Under 'Use your own domain,' click 'Add domain.'
3. On the next page, enter your website name and select 'Link Domain.'
4. Follow the on-screen instructions, which can vary depending on your domain registrar.
5. After following the instructions, click 'Done.'

Congratulations! Your custom domain is being set up. It might take up to 48 hours for the changes to take effect and for the new nameservers to spread across the internet.
